Situated within the Fesleğen Cultural Tourism Protection and Development Zone, it is adorned with centuries-old olive, walnut, fig, and plane trees, along with endemic Mediterranean flora such as sandalwood, mastic, wild olive, and laurel.
The Beauty of Değirmen Stream
Değirmen Stream flows through Gökçeler Canyon, once home to 14 flour mills, according to locals. Today, only three of these historical mills remain in ruins. Also known as Hamzabey Stream, this waterway divides the canyon into two and features picturesque waterfalls and natural pools, creating a mesmerizing landscape for visitors.

How to Reach Gökçeler Canyon
There are two main routes to reach Gökçeler Canyon. The first option is to take the Milas-Bodrum highway and turn left at the Ağaçlıhöyük junction at the 6th kilometre. From there, follow the road through Ağaçlıhöyük and Gökçeler villages, then continue towards Alaçam village. The second option is to travel from Milas-Bodrum Airport towards Milas for 100 metres, then turn right and follow the route through Akyol and Gökçeler villages.
